RCM Flow Meter Specifications

The RCM Flo-Gage is a differential pressure direct-reading flow meter made in the USA. It measures flow based on a pressure differential created across a built-in calibrated nozzle — self-contained, requiring no external power, separate orifices, or blocking valves.

Selecting Your Flo-Gage Model

A

Body Size

Pipe size at the meter inlet. Select from standard flow rates and body sizes.

B

Series (Mounting Method)

7 = Threaded units with FNPT connections (Series 7000). 8 = Wafer units mount between any standard 150 or 300 class flanges (Series 8000).

C

Material

1 = Bronze | 2 = Monel | 3 = Stainless Steel (316)

D

Flow Direction

Select L, R, VUL, VUR, VDL, or VDR (see flow direction diagram).

E

Flow Rate (full scale)

Select from Standard Flow Rates and Body Sizes table.

F

Options (if required)

Select from the table of available options.

G

Switches (if required)

1S2 = One single pole double throw switch. 2S2 = Two single pole double throw switches.

Flow Direction Choices

LHorizontal, flow left to right, dial faces up
RHorizontal, flow right to left, dial faces up
VULVertical, flow upward, dial faces left
VURVertical, flow upward, dial faces right
VDLVertical, flow downward, dial faces left
VDRVertical, flow downward, dial faces right

Output Options

4–20 mA Output

For interfacing with remote displays and controllers. Available as 4-wire (linear) or 2-wire transmitter.

Limit Switches

High and low limit signals available. Single or dual SPDT reed switches. CSA/ATEX approved intrinsically safe option.

0–1000 Hz Frequency

Frequency output to drive frequency-based controllers and counters.
